I have been looking for years for someone with the know-how to work with my curly hair - to bring out its best. Then I found Christina and Haarmony Studios and my search is OVER! Christina is not only an expert in curly hair, but she took the time to really study my hair as it relates to my face shape. I was nervous as this was my first dry cut, but I will NEVER go back to the "old" way! Christina is a true master of her craft, and she makes you feel beautiful and comfortable all at the same time. If you have curly hair and you live anywhere in the Atlanta area, you owe it to yourself and your curls to drive to Christina's salon!

For the first time in my life I LOVE MY CURLY HAIR. Christina gave me a great cut, a beautiful color, and she showed me how to get the best out of curls by using the right products and the right process. The salon is beautiful, and she is very knowledgeable about trends, and techniques. I highly recommend her for anyone that is not 100% loving their curls.

Two words: Thank You! My curly hair was in a sad state of dried frizz when I went for my first visit to Christina. She gave me a dry Deva cut which gave my heavy over processed hair a great new shape. I cannot wait for my return visit in a couple of weeks for color! If you are looking for someone who knows curly hair (she has curly hair herself) and will give you the right cut for YOU, then go see Christina at Harmony Studios!!

I just got my first curly cut from Christina. She was very welcoming and warm. I had mixed curls, soft and wavy in the front and tight curls in the back. She set to work and before I knew it the waves in the front were curly and the back was thinned out and shaped nicely (no more triangle head!). As she styled my hair she took me through each step and made sure I understood what I needed to do to achieve the look at home. This is one of the lowest maintenance haircuts I have ever had. The next day I was able to recreate the style in a few minutes. In the past it seemed that even if I put on a nice suit, I still looked sloppy because of my unruly hair. Now I can look like a professional, and I feel more confident. Amazing what a good haircut will do. The cut did take quite a while (2 hours), but I assume it will not take as long next time. Her prices are high, but you get what you pay for. I will definitely be going back. A previous reviewer said that she had twice as many curls when she left than when she walked in, which is what persuaded me to try Christina. I was not disappointed.

Christina has been bringing out the best in my natural curls for 12 years. She's a marvelous coach. She doesn't apply a certain technique or product without explaining the process. You leave the salon with manageable hair that you feel confident you can maintain until you see her again. She's the 'go to' curl girl.

I brought my five year old daughter to Christina yesterday (drove 1 hour in traffic just to see Christina). My daughter was starting to lose her curls and her hair was turning into a frizzy mess. Christina transformed her hair into a wonderful curly bob and was extremely patient with my girl's attitude (she fell asleep in the car ride over and does not wake up well).

If you have curly hair you must visit Christina at her salon! Finally someone who really knows curly hair! Most hair dressers have no idea how to deal with curly hair - they cut a straight line across wet hair, cut too much and never use enough product. Haarmony is a fun, funky place and Christina made me feel so comfortable. I got a Deva cut and love it. She showed me how to use different products and gave me ideas on different styles. I'm bringing my daughter this week!

Christina is a true Godsend and talent! After reading all the great reviews here, I had a feeling she would be the one to help. She cut and corrected my hair the Deva way (dry of course) Then no-pooed, placed clips and put me under the best hood dryer. She really has an eye for where to carefully put the layers so they fit together perfectly. It totally hides that I have 3 types of curl. Plus she even made my straightish bangs look right with my curls, instead of talking me out of them. It's a huge relief to know now I have the right hairstylist!

I have longer spiral curly hair. Christina not only is able to cut the style perfect for curly but also the cut looks great if I want to straighten it. I started going to Christina when living in Atlanta over 5 years ago and when my company transferred me to Virginia 3 years ago and Alabama last year. I STILL travel to her for a consistent amazing experience on my cut and color. She is perfect for the person who wants to keep the same style or the person that wants to try new styles and looks also with color. I recommend absolutely anyone who is looking for a Stylist that can really grow with you:-) She is SO KIND, CARING AND has become a wonderful friend. Frizz be gone! Christina did a great job. Immediately after the dry haircut my hair already looked and felt better. She got the weight off of my hair without 'thinning' it and a lot of the frizz was gone and my waves/curls were better formed just from the quality of the cut. My hair is also hard to color, and the color looks great. After washing and product - the frizz was gone. She has beautiful curls herself and it really makes a difference to have someone who is not only trained but 'understands' and embraces your hair. I have often left the salon flat ironed and not knowing what my hair would look like or looking like a lampshade because the stylist didn't know what to do with it. I am very happy to have found her, Yay Christina!

I have curly hair and Christina did a fantastic job of coloring and cutting my hair. I think this is the only good haircut I have ever had. I will definitely be returning. My hair is especially crazy right now because of hormone changes from having a baby, but Christina made my hair look amazing! Not only does she have training and personal experience to deal with curly hair, but she has an artistic eye so she can transform the hair you have into something beautiful!

Christina cut and colored my hair for the first time yesterday and my hair looks amazing. When I went in my hair was very out of shape and heavy, and the color I had was all wrong for me (even though it had been applied the day before at another salon). I was so pleased the results that I made four more appointments with Christina to insure that I would be covered until the end of the year. In addition to Christina's incredible talent, her salon if so enjoyable--it is beautiful with a such warm, friendly atmosphere.

I recently had my first Deva dry haircut by Christina. She is great! I was so pleased with her, her talent, her knowledge - everything about my Haarmony Studios experience. She had me watch a brief video on curly hair, then she cut it. The way she cuts it is amazing -- every individual curl is cut. When she styled it, she explained everything that she was doing and why. With that, I learned the how, the why, the what and the what not to do with regard to styling. I learned how important gel is to curly hair. When I left there, it looked like I had at least twice as many curls as when I walked in! I look forward to my next appointment, that's for sure. While there, I met her boyfriend Bryan who has a photography studio at the same location. I looked through albums of photos (models, actors, etc., etc.) that he has taken. His work is beautiful and very professional. So, in case you need pictures taken, I would recommend Bryan. In addition, Christina will do your makeup and hair for pictures that you may need. I very highly recommend Haarmony Studios!! Joanne

I love love love my hair... I went to Christina for the first time last week after seeing the salon reviews on Naturally Curly. I moved to Georgia from LA and it was hard to find a salon that i loved down here. Christina is amazing, she lightened my color and did a full head of highlights. I have received so many compliments on the color. I went from dark brownish black hair to a carmel color with blonde high and low lights. My hair is surprisingly still healthy and shiny after coloring which is not always the case with my 3c/4a curly hair. Not only is she a great colorist/stylist she is amazing to talk to and can teach you so much about curly hair. It was like a hair style change and curly hair lesson in one. The studio is great, amazing music. I would highly recommend Christina, I will be making an appointment for more highlights soon... Thanks Christina.

Christina Carsillo makes you feel like you are home, she is so atentive and lets not talk about her amazing talent, She dyed my hair and did many styles with my hair, now I cannot imagine any other person touching my hair other than Christina! Christina is amazing with hair and her husband is amazing with the camera if you need any photoshoots, therefore they should be your only option.. they are my only option :)

For years, I've been frustrated by: (1) bad haircuts that look great when I leave the salon--because the stylist has straightened my hair; or (2) bad haircuts that look awful when I leave the salon--because the sytlist has tried to diffuse my hair and left me with a ball of frizz. I always had the "wait and see" view on a haircut--namely, "I'll wait until I wash and style it myself before passing judgement." I have tried to find someone who would cut my curly hair dry and style it in a way that gave me hope for the future. Now, my search is over! Christina was warm and inviting and did a great job fixing my last haircut, which was a bit of a disaster. I wanted a cut that celebrated my curls, but still looked stylish and professional (and a bit edgy), and Christina was able to give me just what I wanted. She cut my hair dry and styled it curly. She even educated me on a great line of products and different ways to style my hair. I am very thankful to have found her, and look forward to visiting Haarmony Studios often in the future!

I had given up looking for a stylist with curly hair expertise and so I let my hair grow. But this year I wanted a change in more ways than one! I love my curls so I started with the hair. The first salon I went to I knew there was going to be disappointment once he want straight for the length! UGH terrible but I continued the search and found Haarmony Studios thru Naturallycurly.com. I was VERY pleased with my experience at Haarmony salon. As a model, I have different hair stylists doing my at every shoot and fashion show, but I think Christina is one of the best I've had. -For one, she knows curly hair! She knows its texture and tendencies, so she knows how to cut it, color it, style it, and keep it looking and feeling natural at the same time. -And secondly, I love the innovation. I have tried many different hairstyles, cuts, colors, etc, on my hair over the years, but I have never been as pleased with my overall look as I did when I left Haarmony Salon. Seriously, the creativity is amazingly refreshing. Perfect blend of fun and functionality. I couldnt have asked for a better look or a better experience. :)

I've always just tolerated my curly hair. If I was lucky, it looked ok, but that wasn't very often. Finally after all these years, because of Christina, I LOVE my curly hair. To find someone who could tell me what to do with it & show me how to style it was a godsend. My hair looks exactly the same days later, as when I left Christina. That never happened to me in 52 years. My hair never looked the same even an hour after leaving a hairdresser. I avoided them like the plague. I never felt pretty leaving them. Christina is fabulous. I found Christina Carsillo about 15 years ago and will not go anywhere else, she knows how to make my hair not only beautiful but healthy, and I get so many complements on my curls it makes me feel like a movie star. She is professional, friendly and it's a pleasure to visit her salon. It has a very relaxing vibe, yet very trendy. The most impressive thing about her is that when you sit on her chair, you do feel her attention and focus is all on you. I highly recommend this salon to anyone who has ever left a salon feeling the same way as when they came in, I guarantied you this will not happen at Haarmony Studio.

After long studies to better understand the natural state of my hair I set out to locate a stylist who was on the same page. I found Christina! My first cut was one of the best cuts I ever remember receiving. She has now been cutting and styling my hair for over a year. This is NO ordinary hair salon ladies....I was recommended to Christina by a client of mine...and she really raved about her skills as a top notch hair stylist. Having many stylist over the years I was skeptical, but she exceeded my expectations in every way...from her skills with my thick frizzy hair, her desire to make her clients happy to her expertise in color...Harmony studios is the place in Atlanta to get the most amazing hair.
